Do you get any slowdown in games? Is your CPU/GPU overclocked?

yea, give us more details. What are your temps like? What do you want to improve? You could get a good 22" monitor for £200 if you wanted to down that route? Dont know what your current ones like :p

Or could get a small watercooling loop for the CPU for that, maybe GPU as well. Would let you overclock a bit more and get better performance that way

Not really worth upgrading your CPU, the 6600 is still doing suprisingly well given its age. Could get a good graphics upgrade, but again, most current games should be fine on the 8800GTX (excluding Crysis of course :p ) so would be better waiting until it starts to struggle a bit more. Or get another 8800GTX and have a shot at SLI :D

Hey guys the pc is used for gaming Age of conan mostly

I have a nice samsung 22" already two 500gb samsungs and a 70gb raptor in there

The CPU is not overclocked and the 8800 is a watercooled model. I used to to have every single thing watercooled but got kinda board of watercooling so i only have a loop for the card.

I bought a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro but the cpu(not clocked) seems to be running quite warm. 56C I resinked the fan now a few times but still round around the same

Then a GTX260 or 1GB 4870 would be your best purchase (both can be had for 150, are fast as hell and have their advantages and disadvantages), and also overclock your CPU to at least 3ghz.

also I have vista 32bit with 4gb of ram installed but only 3 is showing up.
I have a 64bit disk would my performance improve in Vista 64bit?

Sigh. its normal for 32-bit to see only 3GB, use Google ot find out why as its been discussed to death on every tech forum in existence. 64-bit is currently only really a benefit if you're using 6GB+ of RAM as it sees/uses all of it.

there was a article of tomshardware sorry if that against rules that said unless you do major work on it there is no difference atall between a 2gb 32 bit system and the same but 8gb on a 64 bit system as there isnt anything unless you use a lot of professinal software that can utilise it in windows

erm big pig you seem not be miscommunicating with all the people trying to help you

nevertheless i agree with the rest buy a new cpu cooler
