any worthwhile upgrades?

I have a xeon 5950,x58 mobo with 6gb ram and a radeon 270x

Is there anything worthwhile upgrading the CPU and gfx to?

I was already thinking of getting more memory

I know theres plenty of new stuff out there but I don't want to spend say £400 - £500 for only a few % gain in performance

A mixture of things, PhotoShop , Lightroom , gaming, a little bit of rendering

Budget of about £500 + whatever I can sell my old kit for

Having had a rethink I might just keep the xeon rig and build another system just for gaming

The gaming would be on a HD TV

I'm not sure if its worth building something or just buying an Xbox one ?

In any case if anyone cares to spec me up something, the only stipulation is that it has to be small

Cheaper is better heh so around £400 if possible

Thanks, I think I would prefer Intel though

I notice theres a £26 micro atx cube case and I would probably just run everything at stock so no need for a third party cooler

One thing I have is a few ssd's so no worry on that front

I'm now toying with the idea of just selling the xeon setup and building a decent micro atx system that I can quickly move from the living room to my pc desk if/when I need to do some work (which wouldn't be often tbh as I have a surface pro 3 too)

Currently reading up on the latest kit as I've been out of the picture for a while
