Anybody else had to reactivate their Vista for no reason?

Short story is I activated my OEM Vista HP online in January(had no problems all went well), today I notice it was saying 1 day left until needing to be activated(never reinstalled Vista or added any new hardware),I thought WTF?.. so tried to do it online again and it said "already in use" .

I phoned Microsoft and they said its a well known problem so gave me a new activation number which worked.
I suggest you check yours is activated (even if you have already done so like I did )to be on the safe side.

Btw their phone system sucks,automated voice kept saying "Windows XP" lol rather then Vista,glad I spoke with a Indian women in the end to get it sorted.
 
yep, i have this, just noticed i have 2 days remaining.
Using vista ultimate 64 bit.
I did just install a quad core from my dual core, and thought it was that. Did try to activate online but it says key is already in use.

will give them a ring when vista fails to load properly because of it !
