Anybody else miss Windows Vista / 7's simple "Games" folder?

Cleaning the desktop up and not needing to launch into individual launchers was nice, why have they removed the automatic process of moving a shortcut to the "Games" folder?

I created one in Windows 11, I have to manually put a shortcut there but it does the job, still nowhere as good as it was in Vista or 7.

Because it's now in the Xbox app... although it doesn't show Steam/Epic/etc games. Only those from the Microsoft store.

MS killed the games for Windows service which was the back end for the games folder in Vista/7 a couple of years or so ago which caused issues with 1-2 old games.
