Anybody from thurrock hear a loud explosion?

I'm in work at the moment and heard a massive bang. The whole building shook.

Anyone else hear it too?

Not normally. Tends to set off a few car alarms and blow out a few windows if really unlucky. Fire engines could mean an explosion.

Fire crews have been sent to a chemical explosion at a chlorine scrubbing plant in West Thurrock.

The local Syrian immigrants are said to be very keen in helping with the clean up campaign.
