I keep getting this every time I do a search :
https://ipv4.google.com/sorry/index#

This page appears when Google automatically detects requests coming from your computer network which appear to be in violation of the Terms of Service. The block will expire shortly after those requests stop. In the meantime, solving the above CAPTCHA will let you continue to use our services.

This traffic may have been sent by malicious software, a browser plug-in, or a script that sends automated requests. If you share your network connection, ask your administrator for help — a different computer using the same IP address may be responsible. Learn more

Sometimes you may be asked to solve the CAPTCHA if you are using advanced terms that robots are known to use, or sending requests very quickly.
The captcha doesn't work either?

Hi. You have reached the auto-reply service of the internet. We are currently having technical difficulties and will endeavour to answer your call as soon as possible. You are currently 314159265359th in the queue. Please hold.

Either you have a virus/spyware or someone using your public IP previously did or was doing something dodgy. Can you get a new IP?

Yeah seen this before, would start by doing a proper virus/malware check.
Sometimes its just your ISP or google being a fud but do a proper check just to be sure.

My hi-res YouTube keeps switching to 144p!

I'm also having problems with Youtube too. Everytime I click on a video embedded in a forum or simply navigate to the site myself I get this.

Everything is whited out boxes and I can't click on anything on the page. Hitting F5 sorts it, but it shouldn't be happening in the first place. It happens across different browsers too.

Been seeing quite a few HTTPS related errors over the last couple of days on first trying to load some sites - possibly something is a bit broken at an infrastructure level and/or some kind of hacking event going on.

Everything is whited out boxes and I can't click on anything on the page.

Been seeing that - but it seems like some kind of loading placeholder and then clears almost immediately to the proper content for me - not sure if its a YouTube or browser (I use Firefox) update related.
