Anybody help with (again) Wake On Lan...

ok Ive had this working fine for weeks - then at work went to turn on my pc via android mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy S) so I could get something done... and no turn on... ggrrrrr...

Heres my setup : bare in mind this WAS working .....

Android phone with Team Viewer to control my server and desktop.

Desktop : Home pc running Windows 7 Pro connected to a Belkin wireless G momo Router.

Server : HP Proliatec running windows 7 Home Premium.. wired to wireless G

ok... so I read before about port forwarding etc ... enabled that and set it up.

Ive got a windows desktop gadget which displays my External ip address... this is added to the WOL app on my phone.... then the MAC address for each computer..... then port number (added in the Belkin config screen)....

on the belkin screeen my desktop is 192.168.2.4
and server is 192.168.2.5 so this is added to the WOL app...

everything worked for weeks and now they dont turn on....... shutting down the desktop just now and the phone (not connected to WIFI) turned it on!

whats with the randomness of the WOL command ?

something I missed?

oh I just noticed the description names wrong in the Belkin setup... but dont really matter .. will change it.

yep assigned by DHCP - am pretty sure theyve never changed... but will try manually giving the IP addresses.

actually looking again .. I cant see a setting to manually set ip addresses - this in the belkin setup ?

and the lease option is set to `forever` so I guess thats why theyve never changed....

192.168.2.3 in the above graphic is my Samsung phone....
