Who the hell invented these some kind of person who loves pain?

I brought it a few weeks ago because I needed a new pillow but after about a week of use it keeps scratching me! I think the feather ends are poking through the cloth of the pillow and even through my pillow case?!

Are all duck pillows the same or have I just been unfourtunate and the duck that made mine was angry?

I get the same with all feather pillows, the ends poking through the pillow at night. Had one of those while sleeping over after babysitting - one of the worst nights sleep ever.

You have to pay quite a few £ to get a good duck down pillow. Best thing is to have a really thorough fondle in the shop to see if you can feel any pointy bits floating around inside. And if they're ok, then check the pillows ;)

From memory the best pillows seemed to start at around £30 and upwards, in BHS, Debenhams and John Lewis.

they are absolutely awful, went to my sisters for christmas and thats all she had, took me about an hour to get comfortable and then you just sink into the damn things, no chance of manoeuvring it again or it would just feel horrid.

I bought feather pillows a while back and they stank of wet duck they were totally unusable, I left them in the airing cupboard for over a year until they stopped smelling.

I used to have a feather matress! was soooo comfortable, but ye, scratched me to holy hell

We bought a Duck Down duvet from John Lewis in the post Christmas sales.
It is so warm and cozy and literally light as a feather.
So much better than the synthetic one we had before.

I have one, best pillow ever. Never been spiked and never seen a feather come out of it. But I think it cost more than a usual pillow and it has a 2nd case on it. Came with it.
