Im getting a train to garforth later today, and know i need the 16:16 from outwood to leeds

then change at leeds for the 16:41 from leeds to york, which stops at cross gates, then at garforth.

Both services are run by northern rail, but i cant seem to find any info as to what platform the york service runs from at leeds. Wikipedia mentions 9 or 11, but thats not much help. I may as well just check the boards when im there

but id rather know for definate to save me having to find a board, then scan over it to find out for definate.

Phone the station???

Why you wanna know!

I once took a train to guilford and had 4miutes to change! it was quite fun tearing through the underpass to my platform over the otherside of the staion! theres a lot of platforms at guilford there too

Ask the station, but they probably won't be able to give you a hard and fast answer until the train is literally in the station.

It's usually the nearest through platform to the concourse (if you know what I mean) for York/Newcastle/Scotland trains.

National rail has live departures for each station. You might be able to check it there, I know it works for the stations I've tried it for...

Edit: Haha, I don't think it works for you... sorry!

Are you stalking me?

I once took a train from Canterbury to Guildford and I had 2 minutes to change at Ashford. I hate that station. Luckily I made it just in time.
