anybody know of a cheap flashgun for s9500

I dont know of a cheap flash gun, sorry, but I don't think the hotshoe on the s9500 is active, so any flash you use would have to be used on manual settings, which can be a bit of a pain.

Yes the hotshoe attachment and PC sync terminal for external flash work fine.

Can't help chose a good/cheap one though, I know nothing about flashgun's, don't even really know what their good for other than longer distance flash photography...
 
Sorry, what i meant was you cannot get a dedicated flash for the s9500 and you will have to manually set it. OK for a studio type setting but can be a pain in the Aris when you're out and about.

Still can't suggest a flash tho :p
