Anybody on 02 in Chesterfield area?

Cant get wap or send or recieve pic messages, normal texts fine, 02 says theres not a problem.

Anyone else having trouble?

I would say there is something wrong with your setting if you can still make calls. Its a handset issue, not network. What phone do you have, how old is it?

thing is , i never altered anything. ive checked all settings, 02 have sent me new settings, its a sony k750i, 9 months old.

And ive tried my sim in my s700i and thats the same.

Phone O2 say you managed to get a crack in your sim, saying it still works but you think its on its last legs (also make up something like your wife is about to have a baby and you NEED your phone, alway good for a laff), and get them to send you a new one.

They have agreed to send me a new sim free, not married either, lol

If the sim dont work i will try and get a new phone, i mean its under warranty for a yr surely, then when my contract is renewed il get another. (yer right !)

Im just wondering if its a local transmitter problem, why i asked if anyone else round here (local to me) is having probs.

might be a trasmiter, you will find out no dought before the new sim gets here, and if its not then the new sim should sort it out.

I'm from Chesterfield ()Newbold area) - not there now. However, until a little over a year ago I was on O2 and found it weak for signal. Minimum bar. Now on T-Mobile, and its minimum bar on it as well.

its allways been fine though, got a female friend to stop outside my house and try and send one, she couldnt , so its a local transmitter problem, going to ring 02 in the morning with the news.
