Virdi said:Hi all,
I'm thinking of going dual core and was looking at the Pentium D 950 - 3.4Ghz - Presler CPU.
Has anybody got any experience of this?
Does it clock well..? Does it run hot?
Thanks.

Try this beta bios as it contains a few important fixes for the auto vcore setting going missing after overclocking!
Ive been using it for nearly a week and it works fine (you also get the new Intel logo @ post for the win!!).
Not sure as the C1E settings + TM2 are what cause the Vcore volts to deliberately fluctuate to lower the temps by reducing the vcore. Turn off both of these in the Bios then when you restart your vcore will be the same stable voltage (and run hotter).<maddness> said:Thanks, Done! does this stablise the v-core or am i asking for the impossible.
