I got hold of a key and downloaded the beta for COD4 last night and I have to say i'm impressed.
The graphics look good, not fantastic but certainly better than most combat games.
I played for about 4 hours non-stop last night, playing lost of different scenarios and game types. There are only 3 maps to play on but they area all different so you get a good taste of the action to come.
In my first free for all deathmatch I managed to finsh 3rd out fo 12 which i thought was fantastic
, I then spent the rest of the night picking my sorry butt up off the floor.
The tactical assault matches are particularly hard but very good, 4v4 take and hold situations. Played about a dozen of these games and don't actually think I recorded a single kill
Anyway, it would be nice to play against a few people I know (sort of) so if anyone else is playing let me know.
