Just wondering how widespread problems with these boards are and what people are doing about it as I've just tried a different make of ram only to have the same problem and now I'm sick of it...

DS4 owner here and everything is running fine.
I'm doing a mild overclock (as Conroe goes) E6600 @ 3Ghz.
I'm using Crucial DDR667 (2x 1GB) modules and all is well.
I've just taken delivery of Geil PC800 (4x 1GB) - The stuff from this week only and I'm told this works fine on these boards.

I've personally been very happy with my DS4 since I installed it.

Sent my DS3 back (Wouldn't overclock for me at all) and replaced with a P5B which is much better. :)

On the verge of sending my DS4 back. Got the G.Skill NR 2GB and have failed to get it to post once, just fans on/fans off, I feel like the Mr Myagi of IT! Have tried some crucial DDR2 533 with no luck and have ordered some cheap DDR2 667 which arrives tomorrow, if there's no luck with it then it's time to send the board back :(

Just sent my DS4 back..... As you can see by my sig, the ram I have is specifically listed on the Gigabyte Website so that's not the problem.....

I seemed to have the same problem as many other people are having (counted more than 10 already with the same symptoms!)..... Turn the machine on, all the fans spin up for about 2-3secs and then it re-starts.....No beeps, no post, NOTHING.

Re-named them GIGATRIPE

Gonna get me a proper mobo this time, what I shoulda bought in the first place..... ASUS P5W DH, you can't go wrong with Asus {well, normally anyway}

DS4 firmly staying in my case thanks ;)

I was careful when i ordered components and steered clear of GSkill as i'd read compatibility woes. Bought Corsair, and had 0 problems.
