Anybody tried teeth whitening?

Before you all start, I know it's a bit vain but one does like to look one's best

I've always really looked after my teeth but they have never been properly white. They're not yellow by any stretch of the imagination but could do with being a few shades lighter. I don't smoke.

Has anyone here bought a whitening kit, or had it done at the dentist? How much did it cost you, was it a lengthy procedure, any detrimental effects, and above all else - did it work?

I used a teeth whitening kit from boots, 10 minutes a day for 14 days. It got rid of the years of tabacco and coffee staining to my teeth. Used one for 5 day earlier this years to give them a bit of a brightening, not smoking anymore mant there wasn't as much need.

They were quite a few shades whiter without turning into a Ross from friends scarefest.

Just replace your mouthwash with Bleach, Job done.

Cheers branddaly, I might try one of those then. As it happens my sister works in boots so I might be able to get some discount.

Jacob - tried that once but you know it gave me a bit of bellyache
It was most uncomfortable - ruined my evening.

Quite fancied one of those kits myself for a while now, as my teeth arent their brightest, people keep saying it's because she took antibiotics when she was pregnant with me?

Could be an idea to put on my christmas pressie list
