If you do can you confirm if it is crap after all. Reason I ask is that I've been using it at home for the last few months and have been having problems. Decided to investigate last night and find that the kids laptop has the Sasser virus which CA didn't pick up, not only that but it the virus was changing the firewall rules to deny access to any CA updates and even after updating it still didn't pick it up.

Got ESET installed now and that picked the virus up straight away and a few more suspect files which CA didn't. Decided ESET was the way to go and have all machines (3 in total) now running with it.

i've removed it from a machine after seeing it, i'd not heard of it before (i dont go around looking for security software mind), thought it was spyware at first

turned out to be a weird program with backwards controls which make it more of PITA than a useful tool

ESET is a lot nicer

especially since they added my request, -disable protection in the right click (advanced) menu in the system tray :)

Well I've sent CA and email telling them their product is crap with exacts on what the problem was, will wait and see what they say if anything, have also read a lot about their AV product reporting false positives so not good at all.
