anybody with an 8800 and BF2142 in here ?

if so could you tell me what fps you get ingame with everything set to high, and set at 1680 x 1050 resolution

im contemplating upgrading from an X1900 XT, as my card dips below 20fps at some point. It spends most of times about 70, but minimum frame rate is quite low.

Im running C2D e6600 @ 3ghz btw.

My 8800GTS in sig makes mincemeat out of bf2 and 2142. Ive got it set to 8AA & 16AF with supersampling and i never see any slowdown whatsoever. Just used fraps and it never drops below 98fps at 1360x768.

Sig below. SLI enabled. 100 fps most of the time constant. Capped at 100 fps I think the game.

hovers around 70-75, with vsync enabled.

I play with a 8800GTX (slightly Oc'ed)...and a C2D at 3.4Ghz

everything at full settings, 1680x1050, 8xAA (or 16AA), 16xAF, maximum quality etc. etc
and in non intensive area's 90-100FPS, minimum on Titans...with lots of action...dips to 50fps.

Mate...the 8800GTX is mightily faster than the 1900...Ive had both. The 8800GTX allows you to play with far higher image quality settings. You just have to work out if its worth the payout. I love mine.
