Anybodys Windows Defender giving malicious software messages?

I've been seeing this over the last week on three systems here. Win10 notification pops up claiming that WD has taken action on malicious software but all the logs are empty and running the defender program manually gives a clean bill of health.
Googling 'windows defender malicious software logs empty' brings up several reports across different forums of the same behavior being seen. Anybody else here being affected by this?
There's definitely nothing dodgy on any of the pc's and running Malwarebytes etc finds nothing.

Yep had the same thing earlier, my main AV prog showed nothing and as with you the defender logs show nothing either

Yup, each day or occasionally I get this at the moment, have done so for past 2 days, I think some dodgy web advertising is being blocked very early in its transmission, thus it isn't even making it as a far as quarantine, or deletion, its simply blocked.
