Anymore bang for buck?

Hello guys,

Used to have an account on here that I posted quite frequently with but can't seem to recall it, and the reset password feature didn't seem to be working.

Anyhow, I'm currently in the process of putting together a list for a completely new build, after having a laptop for the past 3 years.

I'm trying to get the biggest bang for buck so to speak and have come up with the following so far, any suggestions would be welcome:

i7 4790k
ASUS Z-97C
GTX 970
Corsair CS-M Series 550W
Corsair 16GB 1600Mhz
512GB SSD
Corsair 230T Case

Comes out by calculation at just under £1,000.

Also, I'm trying to make it as quiet as I can with reason. Don't want to go spending a fortune, so any recommendations on additional case fans would be great!

Do you have a max budget? £1000 I'm assuming? Any specific uses (video editing, gaming etc?)

Have you tried contacting Admin for a reset on the old account?

Do you have a max budget? £1000 I'm assuming? Any specific uses (video editing, gaming etc?)

Not a max budget as such, just trying to keep it within reason.

No specific uses really, general work (on days that I work from home), a little bit of photo editting here and there, and gaming whenever I manage to get a little free time alone.

Don't plan on upgrading it for a few years anyhow, other than a GPU when it becomes outdated.
