As title. I'm quite sure this is gonna be a common question amongst the community. It's still very early days so maybe a lot of you haven't had time to even receive your new chips yet let alone benchmark them but it would be interesting to see if there is any gaming benefits to an upgrade.

I've scoured every review out there and to be honest I am none the wiser as there is so much variance between reviewers results.

So we turn to the OcUK community for help!

Someone on Reddit did a meta-analysis of all the major benchmarkers (9 benchmarkers, 420 individual benchmarks) and came to the conclusion that the 3700x is ~15% faster than the 2700x in gaming on average.
