just wondering if anyone used it at all.
When it was announced seemingly last xmas judging by google results, there was talk that it would essentially put the secondary(discrete) gfx card to sleep while not in use.
Wondering if theres some silly power saving to be had by using the onboard gfx of a 790gx in desktop and a 4870x2 for gaming.
AT release that seemed to be their idea, massive idle power saving, but has anyone tried it, any reviews I've missed as google is generally coming up with annoucenments from end of 2007.
At the moment going through upgrading my second computer and parents comp and judging by our winter gas/leccy bills I'm just looking to see what we can do to save power but theres obviously more power to be saved with my 4870x2 rig than their low end or my low end back up comps.
