Anyone actually using their Vita for PS4 remote play?

I bought a Vita to go with my PS4 for remote play.
I have tried playing BattleField 4 a couple of time, but as the screen is so small and the controls not sensitive enough its a little tricky at best, and don't get me started on the damn touch sensors on the back.

So who is using remote play a lot and if so what are you playing?

I had a few goes, but the rear touch pad controls got on my nerves and it has had lag st times.

works well with resogun , Zen pinball but killzone was horrible I felt. the rear touch pad ruined it for me, just couldn't get on with it.

I do, works fine for Knack and Don't Starve.
BF4 single player is okay but a nightmare in multiplayer - its all down to the stupid rear touchpad being used for the extra buttons.
Specifically - unlike PS Vita games - theres about 1cm around the edge of the touchpad which doesn't register a touch when in remote play, leaving me mashing the edge of the pad trying to sprint and nothing happens

Tried for Fifa, didnt work so well. It's decent enough for Resogun and Lego Marvel though.

Single player COD was decent enough as well :)

It's a really cool feature, I was unaware I could use it on the PS3 so God of War ascension here I come :D

Bought for remote play. After realising it's not great I've adopted it as an RPG and classics machine. I find my fingers always touch the touch pad so I do things inadvertently.

I think it work fine, played quite a lot of AC4 via remote play and last night about 2 hours of Tomb Raider, this is via direct connection with no noticeable lag and the controls work great.

It works ok at home, not tried away and dont expect it to be playable tbh

Its a good feature but the rear touch pad being used as buttons isnt the best for me but probably the only choice they had really

With regards to the touchpad, its all down to the developers to make use of the touch pad and touch screen the best way possible, e.g. in AC4 they switch the actions which don't require trigger like responses to the back and keep everything important on the buttons.

If they just generically assign L2 / 3 and R2 / 3 to the reach touch pad then it can end up being crap if those were buttons which need a quick or repeated response.

The best solution imo would be to make all controllers fully customisable and allow you to set home many sections the rear touchpad or front screen are split into.

Its obviously going to be hard to use on certain games, I wouldnt bother using FPS games on the vita. I played dont starve, lego marvel and need for speed - they all worked fine.

I mainly use my vita to play vita games and old psone classics :)

Used it for Lego Marvel, works well.

Cant get it to work outside my house, I guess I need to open some ports on my router as the options on the PS4 are ticked.

Used it on don't starve, resogun and AC4 so far and worked great on all of them - I imagine it wouldn't suit anything fast paced too well, but I wasn't expecting it to.

Works well for resogun and lego marvel as others have already said. Supposed to work well as a second controller for lego marvel which should help until the red ds4's are in stock.

You need to untick the direct connect option to get it to work over the internet. I've tried it, it adds too much lag to make it playable :-(
At home tho ive been playing resogun and tomb raider with great success! Tomb raiders button mappings are the best way of dealing with the lack of buttons ive seen so far. Ghosts was pretty decent too.
