I have a Poco X3 from when it was introduced and it's fine.
I also wear hearing aids (Phonak R) and they have worked fine connected to the phone - Sunday one of the ear buds wire broke so only have one hearing aid in.
I found I wasn't hearing calls so had a good poke around but no joy.
I have gone through the menu looking for something like Hearing aids or Earphone adjustmant in case the Phonak app switched sound off and activated the hearing aids. Nothing. -So I can hear it ring -hear music -hear speaker clean -hear beeps when it's telling me something but virtually no sound from the speaker when using the phone.
I have uninstalled Phonak app still nothing -cleaned speaker -switched off phone and did a reboot. I am now lost for what to do next - Well if no one can come up with something I will put my sim back into my old Honor 8X.
My appointment with hearing aid supplier isn't till Friday next week.

Any ideas folks.

Which ear did the wire break on? Left or right? I too have Phonak hearing aids and I have Bluetoothed my hearing aids to my Google Pixel Pro 8. I found the Phonak app more trouble than it's worth so I removed it. As long as the hearing aids are connected to the phone via Bluetooth I can hear calls through my hearing aids.

I worked out that the right hearing aid deals with the Bluetooth connection and then passes the sound over to the left hearing aid. Therefore if the right hearing aid battery runs out and I don't replace it soon enough, the Bluetooth connection dies until I put a new hearing aid battery in. Could it be the right ear bud wire broke for you and so the pairing isn't active?
