Anyone been scammed buying hardware recently?

I don't see the need to use FB for that TBH, when you can simply share photos to groups of family/friends via iMessage/WhatsApp.

There's some interesting people in there :P
Lots of wannabe politicians too ;)

Remember though, if you argue in a thread for 50+ pages going round in cricles, it'll suddenly put an end to a war in another country/change a law in parliament/bring back the death penalty etc, instantly!

No, but you will get access to the members marketplace.

Its not just pc parts, apple products and home cinema stuff can be scammed or just sent in the original box. Ive never had the chance to work at Amazon, but theres no excuse not to use their own boxes for everything.
If its from Amazon you have to tick the option at checkout to use a box.

Cheers for the tips but I'm ok for a GPU now as she let me have the 5070TI I bought here on the MM off WARburton she was going to keep hat for my birthday lol. The Nitro will have to wait a while longer, well until the fat man comes around with his sack again.

Usually just small scale stuff like a replacement hard disk or mouse off eBay, got my money back but imho either the seller didn't bother to test the item or they were simply chancing it with the buyer not noticing. The frustrating thing is even when you are refunded its still your time and effort being wasted, having to jump through hoops and its like they are doing you a favour refunding the junk they posted.

TBF if you do the math, 4 months is what 120 days, 2000 posts divided by 120, is 16.6 posts a day? I'd say that's not a lot in the real world, versus people that spend a third on their day on FB etc.
I'd say it's quite a lot! But that's just for on here.

But I totally get the social media thing and your posts haven't been the kind of posts some people have tried just to get post count up, they've been good contributions and worth reading.

yeah deffo agree his posts are actually worthwhile reading/posting rather than the usual "just post anything as long as it gets my post count up" they have all been either useful or at least amusing and not a waste of bandwidth
as a totally unrelated point
waste of bandwidth would be a great name for my next musical project or my autobiography
