How the hell do you get there?

I can get on the picadially line from where I am but there seems to be no way at all of getting to Teddington station other thanlots of walking and buses.

Train from waterloo or wimbledon is the only really fast way. You can also get a bus from richmond or hammersmith. The 33 should do you.

The problem I discovered is that trains don't run there on Sundays. Will have to be a bus from Richmond, going to be a long journey.

The bus shouldn't take too long from Richmond maybe around 10 - 15 mins max.

Alternatively you could get a train to Twickenham (a couple of stops after Richmond) and get the bus from there which would probably be quicker. (You could even walk from Twickenham train station in about 20 mins maybe less).
