Anyone bet on the sports?

If so:

a) What sports?
b) How much have you won, lost so far?

At the moment i'm betting quite a bit on the French Open, the NBA playoffs, International friendlies and occasionally on the cricket.

I've lost almost two grand in a two year period, frankly quite poor but nothing i'm betting you lot have lost.

Got a few bob on today so fingers crossed.

i'd be giving up if i was you!!!! £2k in two years!

mainly golf,football and the very occasional horse race.
nothing wild £5/£10 here and there.

i have a mate who has just got his statements in for his years betting activity in his ladbrokes account.

Total bets made in 2005 - £106,000
Total winnings in 2005 - £115,000

So he only made £9k but gambled £106k!!! :eek:

he bets about £1k to £2k a week during the football season.

i have won around £300 on the footy this year, i follow what arsenal website bets say and sometimes look at what charlie nicholls says on skysports, he got the last game of the season right he said henry hat trick and arsenal to in 4-2!

I didnt bet on that one though! lol

Have won around £2000 so far this year, mainly off a couple of big wins. Generally bet on accumulators at £10 or £15 a go.

On the last day of this season i bet on 5 draws, 1 let me down. I was gutted, cost me £3000

Whenever I bet stupid things happen. E.g. I bet England to win the Ashes 3-1 last summer @ 33-1. I stuck a tenner on it. It then rained in the last test. I never bet again unless i'm drunk and walk into a casino.

I never really bet on sports, i did a couple of weeks ago on the FA cup final and i was so close to winning £150 off a 1 quid bet ( west ham to win 3-2 ashton to score) but gerrard spoilt that :mad:
