Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone had played this yet? Noticed it on the Xbox store today.

I really enjoyed the local Co-op element of Guardian of Light, hoping for more of the same. Was tempted by the season pass too but I don't fully understand the pricing on the Xbox store.

Noticed it had mixed reviews on Metacritic though, but having said that if you enjoyed the first one I am pretty sure it's likely that this will be similar.

nice one, any ideas what the season pass gets you? I think I've worked it out as £15 for the basic game or £20 for the game & season pass on the xbox

Well I've enjoyed it so far in two player, but I'm now stuck because of what I believe may be a bug! About four hours in, at the 'Oracle's Chamber' there's a puzzle which we got so stuck at we had to google, and the walk through videos (single player mind you) show a grappling ring where we don't have one. Everything else is identical on the screen and the method to solve the puzzle is identical.. Very frustrating.

Anyway..I've not entered the season code pass yet, but this is what it promises:

'Icy Death and Twisted Gears packs, which offer six additional costumes and will challenge you to conquer additional tombs and collect a treasure trove..'

It's a great co-op game just like the first, but with the 'bug' I'm stuck!

Okay scrub that - inspiration struck! No spoilers, but when you have two players there's no grappling ring by design! Silly me...

It is a very involving co-op experience, and if you like that sort of thing it's a no brainer. Now I can get on with it..woohoo!

I rented it to play with my wife and it seems fun enough but we only did the first level. It's the kind of game to stick on for 20-30 minutes but gets boring after that.

The real purpose of it to me is working together to solve the puzzles - the game wouldn't have any purpose playing solo for me but gameplay is solid enough that some may still enjoy it solo.

It's really casual jump in jump out game where dying isn't an issue - which is lucky as the sections where you run across crumbling platforms would be a nightmare as my wife usually just dies 2 seconds in then spawns when I've got to the end. lol
