Anyone built in Lancool 217

I much prefer the woos finish on the 217 compared to Flux Pro. However almost every youtube video I have seen, shows marks or slight gouges on side of wood. Presumably from putting case down on it';s side, while building in it. Anyone built in this case, and is the wood delicate on it ?

It kinda is delicate (for wood), but so is glass (side panel), and various other thin plastic removable panels. If you treat it with respect it'll be fine. You can always put something down on the surface for protection if you want to be extra careful. I think reviewers must be chucking it around to get the review done quickly and aren't that bothered if it takes damage as it's not their personal case.

How do you find the front fans ? Are they quiet. If I went with this case I'd consider 3 Noctua nf-a14x25 in the front.

IIrc I set the silent fans preset in Asus bios and that's it. Can't hear it at all and it's very cool. No point replacing fans imo.

Sounds good. I'll likely keep the front, replace the rest with my existing Noctua fans

Lovely case to work i know that much. As with any case you can get scratches/gouges if not careful.
