Pretty much but it's usually stuff that CEX has refused to take in these days.

I bought some Snap On impact sockets from there for £20 many many years ago. Definitely stolen, not my problem

I thought as much as it looks like they are getting desperate as apparently they are now spamming Gumtree under many various Cash Converter names to try and shift their gear, a few examples above.

We had a Cash Converters in Elgin which shut down after a couple of years. It was replaced by Cex which also only lasted a couple of years before shutting down. They can't seem to make a go of it here. We have also lost several 99p stores and Poundstretcher. About the only one to survive is Poundland but they were the target of a arson attack by a 15 year old a couple of weeks ago so I expect they are shut for the time being.
