After some hardware advice as I was previously connecting my VM STB to my PC via a Hauppauge WinTV PCI-FM card (basic ATV card) using RF cable. On Win XP this was fine and was using their WinTV2000 software to watch/record TV (adequate for my needs). I havent upgraded as its been perfect for my needs...
Im now in the process of moving to Windows 7 64bit and just had a thought that this card is so old (I bought it a decade ago!) that its probably unsupported and so just looking at the Hauppauge website it does appear to only have very old drivers (~2006).
So thats left me with 2 options, hope Windows 7 MCE supports the card (unsure how to find this out) or to replace the card with something up-to-date (not to bother about replacing it - got some good value out of this card, just a shame I have to replace a working card).
Any ideas?
