To be honest youre pretty limited to what you can do with iWeb. Its supposed to be just a case of dragging photos into placeholders and adding text.
If youre knowledgable enough to start hacking round the iWeb code to make a brilliant website then your skills are much better put to use in a professional package or even a good old text editor.
It is very basic, but if it's only a basic website you're after then it worked very well, especially with photos as they automatically set up slide shows for you.
here's mine www.michaelho.co.uk
made it with the ilife 07 or was it 06?
With ilife 08 there are slightly more advanced features.
iweb is great for quickly doing the basics. I've only used it for a holiday blog thing here. I had good intentions to finish it - and to do another one for this years holidays but never got around to it.
I'm sure it is after a while. Thing is that I'm going to be updating the site on the road (holiday log) and using iWeb is just easier to do. If I could create a page to easily add Photo's, Videos and a blog then I would go for that route.
I am contemplating it because I've got a nice flash based photo album that I can't get working in iWeb
