One of my sticks of Corsair 1GB DDR XMS4400C25PT TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2.5 has failed (blue screens etc). I bought these from another member on this forum, how do I go about getting it replaced? It does after all have a lifetime warranty. I also know that he bought them less than a year ago. What are my options if any?

cheers

ok i can help you here.

Go to the corsair website and email the Ramguy. Explain the problem and make
sure you say its 100% faulty or they will spend hours trying to go thro testing it.

Then you will fill a RMA form and its as simple as that. You should then get a email with a RMA number and just follow the steps and sending it back.

I done exactly this and had a new set within 2weeks.

Goodluck :D

Mate i was in the same situation. I just treated myself to 2GB mate then sold the RMA'd stuff.

But of a pain i know, good luck with it. Just goes to show that OCZ and corsair really do live up to the warrenty. Warrenty on ram is definatly the most important for me.

Good luck mate :D

i had no probs - just returned the faulty stick to california and they ups'd a replacement back
i used the online rma service, took around 10 days to return

no fuss, no bother
