I'm considering doing the CTA (chartered tax adviser) exams quite soon in my spare time, but wondering how much work you found it and any suggestions..?
one of my mates did this with PWC but failed the exams and gave up - though he is/was a lazy git and really didn't seem the sort to go into an accountancy type area.
edit - should mention that one of his mates did complete them and then moved to coutts private bank - quite a good qualification to have by the sound of it
i am att qualified and started the cta. The course wasnt so bad. It was att with some tweaks and additions to the basics.
i am switching to aca now. The CTA was far too tax orientated and didnt teach how to tie tax with accounts and business strategy, which is a major flaw imho.
