So, we are thinking of ditching the wifes 2.0 FSI Octavia, it's old, a bit battered & corrosion is starting to become an issue.
I've been looking for a replacement family mobile & whilst I don't need it to really have much poke i've seen a nice fully loaded MK5 Mondeo, however it's got the 1.5 TDCi Econetic 120 PS Powerplant.
I can't help thinking that's going to be frustrating to drive, I know it's a diseasel & low end torque blah blah, but it's a big car for so little grunt, anyone driven one?
For reference the Octavia is a 150HP DSG Petrol, it's a hell of a lot lighter than the MK5 Mondeo but also puts out a fair bit less torque.
Anyone?
