Anyone else become so obsessed with performance....

That you forget to just have fun with games? That you can't just load a game up and give it's recommended settings a go without checking first that those settings are maxed, and then seeing what your frame rates are like.

And then you spend hours/days/weeks tweaking any possible little thing you can think of to get just that little bit more...

I think I have become like this - more obsessed with how a game runs than actually having fun playing it.

Love my console for the fact that there is nothing I can do with it, so just take it for what it is :)

Only at the beginning of getting a new game. I'll fiddle with the settings for about ten minutes to get the best one. After that I don't really do it.

Can't be arsed anymore.

Used to be, but now I just enjoy playing the games. I only look for an upgrade if / when performance gets noticeably choppy to the naked eye.

Max settings is showing the game in its entirety with out gfx, sound & effects being cut out as that's what your doing by running things less than max.
That does not include AA.
