So I got a brand new iPhone 6 Plus and I am not that impressed with the camera. I used to own a Moto G 2014 edition and, when I did a comparison, I didn't see much of a difference. I actually like some of the photos taken with Moto G. The colour reproduction seems more natural. I got my Moto G for £120 and the iPhone costs nearly £700. I honestly don't think it's worth the price.

Here are some comparison photos. Let me know what you guys think.

I'll take some night shots later and uploaded it later.

Your iP6+ images do look a little yellow, can't say that's something I've noticed on my standard 6.

Have you got HDR set up, or have something weird going on with the exposure lock?

I think it was a little over hyped by the media/tech bloggers. I expected Night and day difference between my Nexus 5 and my iPhone 6. The photos are better but there not as groundbreaking as its hyped up too be.

By contrast the Nexus 5 camera for me was a major drawback on the phone and one of the main reasons for getting rid of it.

The iPhone 6 camera is night and day difference to the Nexus 5 IMO.

I've just finally made the transition to an iPhone having stuck with Android for some time. I think the camera on the 6+ is good (coming from a Z2)

Interesting to see that the majority aren't actually replying to the OP, rather just bandwagoning on the defensive :p

Can't say i've noticed it myself but those 6+ examples are certainly more 'yellow' than the Moto G examples. Tomsguide had a good article on the quirks of the 6/6+ cameras which might be worth a read to see if any of the tips listed help to improve things.

Your last picture looks like HDR is enabled on the moto g.

I've personally been very impressed with the iPhone 6+ camera.

DxOmark also have run tests and show iPhone 6 camera to technically be the best phone camera. http://www.dxomark.com/Phones
