Hit 365 and there you have it, thought it'd be a good idea so I take atleast one image a day and it'll keep me motivated

Will also be good to look back on!

Yes, but I haven't decided a theme yet! I want something to show myself how I've progressed, hopefully, with photography throughout the year!
I might do 1 photo a day of something I have used/encountered the most and hopefully 1 completely different photo everyday as well

I really dont see the point in 365 projects really. People always seem to start them with the best intentions but a lot of the time are just forcing themselves to take a photo for a day that really isn't any good. So at the end you have loads of mediocre photos that you took just because you felt you had to and then a sprinkling of really good photos mixed in.

personally, I'd rather just see the 40 or 50 great photos and leave out the other 300 odd

Well mine is a diary more than just one photo a day. something to symbolise the day to fully summerize the year.

Absolutely agree. I want to take photos because I enjoy doing it, rather than because I feel that I have to. That said, good luck with it

If i were going to do it, i would do 52, not 365.

365 would mean i will end up a lot of interior shots of my desk, i just know it.

I was thinking of doing this, but of my kid instead. Then next year I can do a calender for the grandparents.

Was thinking about it but as said above. I'd be forcing myself to take mediocre images. Never thought of doing a weekly one. That I may do.

I took a picture on the 1st, expecting to do a 365, but I'd definitely end up with macro desk shots and the like when I'm busy and out of inspiration. A 52 sounds like a great idea, think I'll give it a go
