I'm in the open access centre, 24hr jobby. Been working straight from 4pm monday - 1am tuesday, slept, woke up and came into uni for 10am tuesday, been working since 10am, thats almost 14 hours ago, I'm set to be in here for another 12 hours.

Thats a 24 hour straight session of work. Hardcore :D

Really, I wish I'd started it saturday... but for once I had a genuine excuse... laptop died and I was working 16 hours sat/sunday!

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt to prove it. I spent a fair few nights in that very same building during my time there. Mind you, it was last century when I did it.

Not 24hr, but I was at uni 9am till 11pm every day last week.

Not tonight, but I will be tomorrow. Last day of the semester on Thursday (last day of teaching for the year too :D) and have an essay due. Actually been in a similar position, my laptop died last week, and I've been waiting for my flatmate to go off on a residential trip to steal his monitor and plug it in to my music server. Managed to get plenty of the reading done in the meantime at least.

Ah well. 2500 words in 24 hours, from the end of my lecture at 11am tomorrow. Can't be too hard.

I miss the days of cramming excessive amounts of work into small periods of time. Never quite managed the epic "all night" affairs that some people seem to be able to pull off. I just can't function if I'm super tired. Plenty of up at 5am jobbies though, I'll never forget the cramming I did in my third year.

Well I'm still awake now, feeling fairly good - had a redbull and 3 pro plus. Plus plenty of minstrels, starburst etc.

Almost ordered a pizza at 1am.

Will report back at 6am if I'm still alive! haha.

I've worked a 15 hour night shift (2PM start) which comprised of 9 1/2 hours driving, then got home,(5:30AM) stayed up all day playing BF2 etc, gone out in the evening with my GF at the time and then come back home and stayed up until 4AM with further BF2 gaming! got to bed ultimately at 6AM :o

Stopping up is easy, especially when your body clock has no idea as to the day / time due to "around the clock" shift start times over the years.

Alas, tonight I am off work, am I in bed? well, no, obviously - I'll spend the day in bed today which is a waste of my day off tbh, alas, its the only sensible option when working (and driving a 44ton truck!) at night - staying nocturnal that is. :)

Done it a few times at lincoln uni recently, though its nothing on the 69 hrs I did in russia on a school trip. Airplane bets and vodka don't go hand in hand.
Just to sum it up I collapsed on my bed and fell asleep with my eyes open and my mouth drooling and just moaning like a old server. Teacher found me... :( Just before that though at the lunch table I thought the put of custard was whispering death threats at me and I ran off. I guess the shouting at the custard got the teachers attention. :D

Well I've finished one assignment, I'm currently working on another...

Got about 4 hours and 30mins till I need to finish it.

Might *just* be possible.

edit, Sloth, I'm not giving up that easily.

The OAC (or the ELC, Early Learning Centre, as my friends and I called it when we went to B'mouth Uni) had terrible PCs in them - never bothered with it.

Good luck all the same.

A mate of mine was in a proper state the other day, three days without sleep trying to get his psychology dissertation in. I took pity on him, so bought him a few cans of redbull and helped in what way I could as was clearly too stressed to think properly. I honestly think if I'd left him alone, he would've just passed out on the keyboard.

I've got a mammoth of a task in front of me, the work is easy, but it's time consuming. It's only worth 10% of my module too. But the way this module has gone, thats a big help...

I guess I'll just get what I can get done handed in!

Been doing 18 hours day the last week, almost did an all nighter last night but fell asleep when taking a power nap so went home.

Probably an all night tonight.

I did a good 48hrs straight in the final week of Uni.

Plus the actual time travelling to uni + hand ins and I'd say it was more like 50+ :(

I literally slept for a whole day afterwards.. not recommended!!
