Well, yes, I've got AOL and its kind of starting to annoy me a little now, ever since carphone warehouse took over, apparently they throttle the speed, so from 5PM untill 11:30PM my speed is throttled from 3.2mbit to 512k
Also, my speeds are never stable, usually, when I'm downloading off of a good server, I'm getting 320-350kb/sec, but this is not gauranteed to stick, some days my max is only 230kb/sec, other days it's 290, and one day it was 400kb/sec, I mean WTH is this all about? AOL said I'm due for another speed upgrade, in novermber.... now, I remember the last time I had a speed upgrade, 1mbit to 2mbit, and for about 5 months I had constant disconnections, infact, every 10 mins at night my internet disconnected after that upgrade, seems fine now, I dont know what speed I'm due to get upgraded to next, but I asked Live Help questions in the past, like with the connection problem, I describe it to them, then they say, "Oh, I've got just the right email for you're problem here", then they tell me this will deffenitly fix the problem when I know for a fact it wont as it's not my PC thats the problem.
