Anyone else fancy some track action this Sunday?

I know it's a bit short notice but thought i'd mention it if anyone is at a loose end.

Me and Vix will be taking the MR2 to a practice sprint/trackday at Barkston Heath in Lincolnshire this Sunday, format is basically using the sprint course that we do TSS events on but with as many runs as you can fit into the day. I *think* this day will run with passengers allowed and no timing although I've done a similar day before where we had timing but no passengers so it could be either (organisers insurance tends to dictate you can have one or the other)

As well as the sprint course there will be a drift area and a 'freestyle' area (essentially a large coned off area where one car at a time can hoon to their hearts content doing burnouts, donuts, j-turns and anything else you feel like)

Details here:

Our current set of 888s are nearing the end of their life and we'll be replacing them before the next competitive event plus the Barkston sprint course isn't very hard on tyres so we'll use them this weekend anyway. If we didn't want to use the 888s for any particular reason then I've got plenty of old wheels with rubbish tyres on lying around which I can put on there just to kill them off.

Wish I could afford the extra oil, tryes and brakes for track abuse.

Compared to a full on track day, a day like this won't put any significant wear on the car, it's not much different to a blast down a twisty country lane except there's no oncoming traffic and no ditches to land upside down in.
