yeah volume is kinda loud. the point he was complaining about was the fact microsoft basically promised that the x1 wouldnt be sold without the kinect.. really wish they had stuck with it

The way I see it is the Kinect is an accessory. They bundled it for two main reasons:

1) The experience (general Xbox usage via Kinect)
2) The games that utilised it

Sadly not much came of #2 and I have to imagine there's nothing in the pipeline either and I don't think #1 is a good enough reason to keep it unless they weren't looking into reducing the XB1 price.
