Here's the advert that has got MPs and other people really p'ed off, I for one think it's hilarious!

i for one love it

am i well used to be a skin head and find it very funny and very 1980's British

It sums up what we are (or were)

Skin heads, england flag, and a cup of Earl Grey Old Boy???

I think it's very clever. It's our play on the Belgian Mannequin de Pis statue or whatever it's called. To be honest, the fella looks more German though with skinhead, braces and Doc Martens [Neo Nazi?]

The irony is you couldn't do a parody of another country like that here because someone would complain and we would be made to feel bad.
 
I think its quite funny. Not really offensive.

But in the interest of fairness, we should have a poster with a Frenchie wearing a beret with some onions round his neck eating a frogs leg sandwich. :cool:

The skinhead movement began with 2-tone ska (Madness, the Specials, etc), and was originally associated with acceptance and togetherness (hence "2-tone", black & white - esp as ska was originally very much a black style of music) - but some oiks decided they liked the skinhead style (DMs, shaved head, braces, etc), and decided to start getting a bit racist and making trouble... Since then the look had to be dropped by the original skinheads as it was becoming trouble, and Neo-Nazis have carried it on. Shame really.

I think its a clever bit of advertising. Little Britain takes the urine out of us way more than the Eurostar advert. :)
