Anyone else finding themselves being more disinterested in gaming?

Yeah yeah I know, take a break but I feel like I'm on a constant break anyway.

So anyone else just feeling disinterested/jaded with gaming in general?

The amount of games I buy now has plummeted, I really only enjoy playing BF1 really as everything else is season pass this, DLC that.

I feel burnt by the DLC program in CoD so no interest really in that, and everything else is just meh and seems to want to suck cash out of you like a lady of the night.

I'm finding myself wanting to enjoy more and more games from years ago on retro systems and the such like.

Steam seems like a good cure for things like this with their indie games.

I literally have zero interest in bells and whistles or resolution or graphics anymore so my interest has plummeted in getting a PS4 Pro or even a Scorpio system at launch at this point I just feel like I despise everything that gaming has become/is becoming.

So rant over, anyone else?

I just loved how my little chicks grew into hens, loved me loads and gave me big eggs every day. :D

Lol, I might give this a go, if I don't like it it seems like something my GF and younger son would love.

I'm not surprised if cod is your main game series.

It WAS my main game, not any more.

I know what people mean by indie games, I've been enjoying some remote play on the old PS+ freebies like Not A Hero and Escape Plan etc on the Vita, and these are pretty fun. Funny as well how I was one to look down my nose at these games when they are announced as WHERE'S MY FULL PRICE RETAIL GAME?!? but oddly enough I'm getting a dislike for those types of game. :o

I'm going to pick up Shovel Knight on Steam too as I've heard lots of positives about that. I also picked up a load of cheap games in the Steam sale that I have to play, but again not many triple A games in there apart from Doom and Hitman.

Maybe it's just the Triple A games space that I am tired of.

I do also have Rocket League and I should really spend more time on that to be fair.

Maybe it's just changing tastes, but new game reveals apart from Resident Evil 7 & BF1 rarely get me hyped at all, as you know there'll be the inevitable £40+ season pass to boot.
