In my own little world
all the politics that's currently in the media ? They need to hurry up and shake their magic 8 ball and decide who's next in line to run this country into the ground.

How dare the media talk about something relatively 'important' for once.

Would you prefer them to go back to talking about Terry and Wood's latest threesome?

who ever we vote for is going to ruin the country further so will be glad when its over

My thoughts exactly!

I always find all the election promises a joke, but on the back of the expenses scandals it's even more amusing watching one politician after another try to convince us that they're more trustworthy and likely to do what they promise than the next :D

Try and vote a party in who will?

All our politicians are a joke, we would have more luck randomly choosing a name out the phone book lol

These elections are no more important to me than choosing the x-factor winner.

If only it was true democracy and not the stupid 'First past the post' system where my (and many other UK residents') vote isn't worth a damn.

Why can't we have a system of proportional representation where every party has a fair chance and equality? And yes, I'm bored of the election stuff too, its a farce. Either Labour or Conservatives will take power, go ahead and flip a coin, its really no different.

Ah it's not so bad, it doesn't happen that often and will be over soon...

Then we can get back to stories of teenage pregnancy scroungers and people who are wrong in the head :p

What a sad reflection of the public majority. If people actually took an interest and listened to what people (politicians, critics, the media etc.) are saying, they might find out something worth their while. As it is, it's easier to turn a blind eye and then moan about the result as if it was someone else's fault.

Quite frankly, I'm not surprised the country is in the state that it is if this is the reaction to probably the biggest and most important event in society's calendar.

Yeah, the politics have bored me no end too. I hate it when the main parties **** each other off. "Oh, I'm better than party X", but then they don't back their statements up. It's just promises, brainwashing people, then later on, the promises turn into lies.

Mind you, I can think of 3 topics that bored me more than the 2010 election:

1. Fox hunting. That went on for so long, that it got boring. The debate should have gone on for 1 week max, then a law passed through the Lords, or where appropriate, then fogotten.

2. Next was the 2003 war in Iraq. Although the war was short and sweet, the unrest that proceeded it went on for far too long.

3. The Michael Jackson paedo claims. It dragged on for just short of a year. It was BORING! Guilty or not, the media was just in it for the money.

Yet when they cut your Grant/Loan (if youre a student) or raise your taxes (if youre employed) or take away your benefit (if youre not), you will complain and say who voted for this lot....I didn't (because you didn't bother)

Unfortunately the state of society is caused by these elections. If the parties weren't seen as a joke people would actually feel like their vote was worth it.

The fact that people were dying, both iraqi's and our troops bored you...
