Anyone else getting miffed off with DLC ?

Every single game that comes out now near enough as long as it's successful has DLC coming out a month later which you have to buy in order to play new maps etc .... then it will get another the month after , they even announce the extra content before the frigging games even out ! Which means they must already be working on it , i miss the days when it was just a one off purchase, and they waited a good year before they released 'expansion packs' which were basically another game on top of the original but for half the price , why don't they do that anymore ? Anyone else feel the same or is it just me ??

I suppose you don't have to buy the new maps etc for games if you don't like splashing out but then I just feel like your missing out ..

I just hope games I love playing like counterstrike and that don't go down the same route

Season passes - wtf. Why does every game come with a season pass?

Yeah this too! Glad I'm not just on my own ...

And the day one patches then one every week , I think to myself oh I'll just have a quick game .... oh wait it's gotta update ... 1 hour later I can finally play

The last of us did it right with the left behind DLC , although I still Haven't got round to playing the ... they waited a good 6 months or so to release it and they have left it at that....

the gta v dlc that comes out will be a whole different story like the ballad of gay Tony , but will be like half the price of the original game , and it's gonna be a good year or so after release , stuff like that I actually like

What's the problem with Day One patches?

@OP yes I'm getting fed up with DLC and micro-transactions. What particularly annoys me is the concept of "Season Passes". WTH is a season supposed to mean?

I don't get season passes either , nowadays there's 3 different versions to every game when it comes out ....

Battlefield 4 is the worst for map packs , they bring out a few extra maps about 10 times over 2 years it's ridiculous ... titan fall did the same although they announced there'd be 2 additional dlc before the game was even released

Battlefield: Hardline have just announced what's going to be included in the premium version of the game and already announced the DLC ?!?!?! The games not even out until the end of the month what the hell !!!!!!

I was playing ON Mario kart 8 the other day and I think they have done the dlc right, in a year they will have released 2 lots .. but with 16 new tracks and 4 new characters , new cars etc. I do think that's pretty good , a lot better then releasing 4 new maps every month and charging for them !
