I've got a site that unfortunately got indexed from a forum backlink before I had submitted the sitemap.. usually not a big deal, but since I've submitted the sitemap Google has stopped attempting to crawl my site at all:
I've had this in the past and had to log it with Google and it took an age for them to sort out, so i'm hoping other people are having a similar problem and Google is just running a bit behind
I wouldn't be that concerned usually, but the initial crawl was of a site with a slightly different structure, so a lot of the URLs in the index are actually 404s now
