Anyone else getting subscription burnout?

I have office 365 family subscription but that's yearly.
YT Premium

And I think that's it. I don't know how people have the time / money to watch as much tv as that. I barely watch 5hrs of tv a week.

We have Prime which is £59 annually here which pays for itself in saved delivery costs after 4-5 items out here in the sticks.

I have the 1 credit per month £7.99 Audible membership which keeps me nominally sane during hours of cleaning, gardening and waiting in the car while Herself mouches around B&M etc.

We were going to bin Spotify a couple years back, but our eldest decided to pick up the tab, so we’re freeloading.

We use to have Netflix, Prime, Disney+, 365

We have ditched streaming services, we still have 365 Family, not missed streaming services or Prime delivery, but then my Dad and the mother in law both have Prime so if need something urgent get them to order it, though last few times ordered from Amazon its come the next day

Bit off topic, but do most who sign up to say Netflix, Disney + and the likes have a preference to what payment method they use, for example I use PayPal a lot, but Im wondering if im better just using credit card.
I read Paypal doesn't offer certain protections when using a credit card, so was thinking about closing it altogether.

Yeah we have Prime, AppleTV, Disney. Haven't watched anything on Apple for a couple months now. Waiting for Foundation series 3.

I use Paypal for Disney I think. Apple goes through Google Pay, and Prime I think is through Amazon registered credit card.

Protections against what with regards to Netflix and disney plus?

Really must cancel my Apple TV Sub.

What I'm a little annoyed with recently is all the apps and all the waiting. Want to watch Dept. Q on Netflix? I say Netflix into my Sky Q remote, Netflix loads 20 seconds later. 'Who is watching?' Me, it's only ever me on this device. Choose me, another load for 10-15 seconds. Now I get to scroll through what's on. But wait, not just yet, the App isn't ready. Another 5 seconds or so and I'm looking for the continue option which is 3 or 4 rows down. Find what I want, press, another pause as the show loads, then what would I like to do, watch the credits of the last episode? Why would I? So I then have to move again and select what I want. Another loading screen and it's playing. But then I skip the recap and then skip the intro sometimes if it plays right away. 3-4 minutes after sitting down I'm finally watching my show. I miss simply finding what you want to watch and it's right there, immediately.

And then if you decide there's nothing you want to watch on Netflix the whole rigmarole starts again with Prime or Paramount or AppleTV.

Slow apps wind me up - full disclosure, I run a test lab for certifying smart TV apps. But my mum's Virgin box is heinously slow on the apps I've tried e.g. Netflix, iPlayer. A basic smart TV could probably do you better, which is a pain if you otherwise don't want to upgrade your panel.

Quite poor interfaces on streaming apps.

I think I switched mine all to the same debit account. I switch to what ever offer is on at the moment. I have Disney for €1.99 a month for 4 months at the moment..

I don't get subscription burnout as I limit what I sub to.

Currently I only sub to MAX (HBO)

I plan to sub to Apple One though very soon as Im primarily all Apple devices and need the iCloud storage, I also tend to watch a lot on Apple TV + and listen to music when free trials pop up, but I seem to have got to the limit of trials from Apple.

It is interesting to watch the AI companies work out what price they should charge for access to their services. This category is most recent (trial) addition to my subs.

We have

Netflix standard
Spotify
Microsoft one drive (probably going to go soon as I don't want to pay for AI)
Google

So I think our joint subscription comes to under 50 a month. So only 25 pounds each.

Nothing else. No TV licence, no finance car. Don't need prime.

I only have Spotify and YouTube Premium on subscription and I only pay a partial amount as both are friends and family accounts. I pay my partial amount by standing order.

I sacked off Disney+ as I couldn't justify the yearly increases after it went above £80.

Everything else:

TV license
Amazon Prime
Google One
ASDA delivery pass

Are all yearly.

ICloud+
Netflix
Disney+
Amazon Prime
MyFitnessPal
Strava
PSPlus essential
Gym
Spotify
YouTube Premium
The Times
Puxton Park for the kids
TV Licence
NowTV Sports
Virgin TV basic package that includes megabit broadband
Both boys have football clubs, swimming lessons, gymnastics membership..
Deezer for my other half's music.

Probably totals £230 a month-ish.
