Ah, like mine then. I had assumed they fitted the large 4:3 to the e46.
 
Tom, forget about the xenons - not important - you can retrofit them!!

It's worth the wait to find the right car tbh. I compromised a little bit buying mine - didn't get the 18s or the nav, regret it a little bit.

They are important on the E46, nowhere near as easy to retrofit as the E39 because it has bi-xenons and you can't just shove a HID kit in because the E46 doesn't have projectors.
 
In general I do prefer alcantara/suede type seats but think on a 3 series that isn't an M3 you'd have to have the full leather :)

what olly said really.

Because they're bixenons you have to start hacking at the wiring loom to get the high beam to work, and retrofits look **** because of the lack of projectors.
 
It's all down to personal preference but I think the double din screen looks great in the 5 series - if I was going to go single din I would buy something by nakamich which would well suite a BMW's interior blandness (understated appeal should i say)
