Anyone else hate installing ram?

Its one of the more simple upgrades but does anyone else grit their teeth when installing it, applying the needed pressure to click it into place and hearing the motherboard literally groan underneath? Doesnt seem to matter what you have the board on, whether its in the case or on something solid, you always seem to get some flex where you can hear some disconcerting sounds.

What are mobo manufacturers view on this, is it possible to actually cause damage from installation of ram, and is it something they take into account under warranty?

You'd think by now there would be some kind of ZIF ram slot.

I just wonder why they havn't changed the ram slots to not require such force? A pcie slot for example doesnt require anywhere near the pressure of a ram slot, yet theyre similar enough in installation method.
