At the moment my game time is shared between the 360 and PC. I am the super nintendo generation and must have people my age were bought up gaming on the consoles. I got into the PC gaming about a year ago and mostly like it.

What i do hate is when companies release the Console version much earlier than the PC version (Assassins creed 2) That means i buy the inferior Console version first.

For about a year now im still not fluent in WASD control. The mouse is 10000% better than using thumbsticks but i disklike WASD. I always end up looking down in the keboard or pressing the wrong keys in an intense fire fight.

I own a bog standard Keyboard and i was wondering if there was any products out there that make WASD easier to use?

Keep your index finger on D on your second finger on A then you user middle finger to go up W and down S, then you thumb is on the space bar, and you can shift (for walking / running) with your pinky. How simpler could it be.

I also used Q for quick switch.

Still dont know how you could loose track of the keys, get a bigger keyboard with proper
keys if you've got one of they laptop style keyboards otherwise your fingers will slip right off.

edit: your on my friends list :P

I used to use arrows a lot when i first started gaming, not sure why, but yeah, it took me awhile to get used to WASD (like a month or so)

Be pro and use the arrow keys! I use them as im left handed and find it hard to use wasd!

I'm left handed and I have never been able to play a PC game using the WASD keys. It seems impossible to use over the arrow keys.

If the game as plenty of other keys I just bind them around the arrows. I don't really bother with leaning keys - just bowl in and shoot everything :)

I when I started playing online fps games I used arrow keys, shift jump, ctrl crouch (lol), but there wasn't enough for all the say_team binds later, then a friend recommend ESDF, it took about 3 months to unlearn! but worth it. WASD is too cramped.

ESDF, C crouch, SPACE jump, W use, R reload, Q flashlight/drop tech ;) just get practising like others have said

I use QWES, and caps lock for duck, d for use item etc.

I'm mainly a console gamer as well and pretty crap with the whole keyboard mouse thing, slowly getting better though.

use the mini thumbstick for movement and all those nice buttons for everything else u can even assign macro's
a snip @£60 :)

I use a different set up to anyone, but I think mine is the most naturally it may seem strange when u think about it but when you actually try you will see your hand falls there naturally

I use:
CRTRL -walk forward
Alt - Walk Back wards
Shift - move left - Stafe (not turn left)
Z - Move Right - Stafe (not turn right)
Caps - lean left
A - Lean Right
Shift - Prone
Right Mouse Key - Jump
Mouse Look

and I have my mouse inverted stops me looking the wrong bloody way all the time .. and I used to be very good in FPS ..always be in the top 3 on most maps and 90% of the time top ..but not played for over a year and crap now :P
